Love
“Love does not consist of gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction” Antoine de Saint-Exupery
This Valentine's Day take a moment to reflect on what it means to love. Is your love shared with a select few or given unconditionally to all? Who do you love, a spouse, parent, child, sibling, friend, neighbor, stranger? Why do you love them, because they love you, do things for you, provide for you, out of a sense of responsibility or duty? How do you express your love? Do you give gifts, make dinner or perform unusual acts of kindness? When do you express your love, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, always and often? Where do you express your love, in private where no one else can see or in public so everyone will know? Imagine a world where every person loves every one else unconditionally. A world were people stand side by side with their arms across each other's shoulders and share their visions rather than viewing each other unsympathetically or critically. Love everyone, with your entire being, heart and mind, body and spirit, every moment of every day, wherever you are, because they deserve to be loved and so do you.
Use this affirmation to be more loving:
I love everyone, everywhere, with all of my being.
Take these actions to share your love:
Stand beside someone you love or wish to learn to love. Place your arm across their shoulder. Listen intently while they share their vision.
Love, Light & Hope,
Andre
